One red LED light on its chest flashes when you pass it over the card

readers: automatic ticket gates in stations and so on. (Unconfirmed in overseas automatic ticket machine except Hong Kong used FeliCa style) It is also possible to use as an ID card holder if the size is right however the amount of light might be weaker.
